Young & Free Alabama is Listerhill Credit Union's ongoing effort to give the 18 to 25 crowd a voice, a head start and useful information:
1. GIVING YOUNG PEOPLE A VOICE
We launched Young & Free Alabama because we felt strongly that young people were not being well served by large faceless financial institutions. Young people in Alabama didn't have a voice when it came to getting what they needed financially. So we launched a search for a spokesperson and gave that person a platform: the Young & Free Alabama website.

Chris Anderson is our 2010 Young & FreeAlabama Spokesperson and his full-time job includes travelling, attending and speaking at events throughout Alabama and posting daily blog entries and weekly video blogs on the Young & Free Alabama website. Listerhill Credit Union is proud to offer the The Hill Account – the first of its kind in Alabama. The Hill is a line of free products and services for members ages 15 to 29. The Hill is designed with you in mind and bundles all of these great products and services for free!

Plus, even more! If you are between 15 and 29 years of age, you qualify! Fill out the simple application form and we'll contact you to get you set up, or you can visit any of our branches to open an account.

The Young & Free Alabama Spokesperson has a platform to answer questions and concerns that come directly from YOU! And Listerhill Credit Union is always there in the background, listening and responding, making sure the products we offer match your real needs.
