What's up friends and foes? My real name is Daniel Gossett... but everyone calls me Goose. I'm a recently graduated singer/songwriter, from Florence, AL! I've spent the past couple years living and going to school at Belmont University in Nashville, TN.. but like the girl with the trippy friends, the annoying little dog, and the wicked red heels says, "...There's no place like Home!"

So this is a blog... It's a lot roomier than i thought it would be. I like what the previous owner did with the windows. Anyways, now on to the task at hand, fixing the problems that are being left for our generation to deal with.. basically the stuff our parents and the GEN X crowd weren't smart enough to handle! ha That's right guys.. just leave it up to us.. we'll clean up your mess! Hahah.

Tom Brokaw wrote a book a while back called "The Greatest Generation," and in the book argued his belief that the generation that grew up during the depression and went on to fight in WWII was indeed the greatest. Now, I'm Not going to sit here and lie to you and tell you I've read this whole book, or for that matter, a whole chapter in this book; but, one thing is easy to take away from his general argument. Adversity brings about two clear options: Do nothing, or Do something.

For those of you living under a rock, and the people who just don't pay attention, guess what?? We're in a recession!! Goody! I know right? So here is my main point for this glorified digital soap box I get to "stand" on, WE HAVE GOT TO DO SOMETHING!! We have a chance to be the Greatest Generation and pull the country out of the hole its dug itself in and start again. And it all starts with us, and or everyday lives! Crazy huh?

That may have been too strong to start out with, but hey, balance is important and my video is light and funny, so check it out!! I Hope all you guys and girls will be apart of this movement, or something that is trying to do something for our future, cause there's a good chance we're gonna be on this planet for a long time coming..  and if we're not gonna be on this planet for a long time.. then i guess we would be on another... haha!
